Yesterday, (Thursday) was a wonderful "reunion" playing ukulele and singing together after two days of no classes. Today, (Friday) begins the "Stockton Winter Folk Dance Camp." It is FREE! If you would like to register to get the Zoom link so you can watch and take the dance classes & enjoy the general festivities: Click here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZUld-mtrDwjGdfi7zMm6iIC5hjHtDZzH4q7
I'm not sure how much of this great dance festival I will be able to take in, but I will be teaching my regular schedule of ukulele classes, everyday, even though I know a number of you will be folk dancing instead. Tomorrow, Saturday, I will introduce our next NEW song!
The PDF below is the form Students can use to keep track of the songs we are learning for our current semester: Winter 2020-2021
If you have been participating since the beginning of the Fall Semester, please take the time now to asses where you are at with the 14 Fall Songs, see form below, because we have moved on to SIX new Winter Semester Songs. Yipee!
Help Session for New Players today: 1:45 - 2:15pm PST
Today through Monday, Jan 25th is a great opportunity to get lots of personal attention because our sessions are likely to have light attendance. Join me for the "Help Sessions." Get help with what is tricky for you. Let's review & practice the "C scale" a bit!
Also, students can print out for themselves the two PDF's below: "Keyboard-My colorful creation" and "Keyboard & Fretboard Octaves." These two documents will help you begin to understand how our ukulele playing fits in to many other musical terms you have heard, and will hear.
