THREE HUNDRED DAYS is very exciting!!!!!!!! I could say a lot, but I'm sure we all feel the same!
Thursday was, "PICTURE DAY!” Topanga Canyon’s local newspaper, "Topanga New Times," is doing an article about our ukulele pandemic Zoom project! Melanie really appreciated everyone's enthusiasm toward getting on the Zoom session together at 3:15pm for photos last Thursday! And "Jazmyn, got great shots! :)
We are up to seven songs for our "Winter Semester Repertoire" so far ... and we will be adding seven more songs that will bring our total "Winter Semester Repertoire" to 14 Songs!
(There are two more months remaining in this "Winter Semester!")
Please use the following PDF to keep track of your current "knowing" of each of the songs we are learning for our current semester: Winter 2020-2021
Help Session for New Players today: 1:45 - 2:15pm PST
I look forward to helping you with whatever is tricky for you... the new "Chuck Strum" or any other questions you have. We will review the "C Scale," and we will learn how to tell someone else the "numbers" of a chord you are trying to describe to them.
Also, students can print out for themselves the two PDF's below: "Keyboard-My colorful creation" and "Keyboard & Fretboard Octaves." These two documents will help you begin to understand how our ukulele playing fits in to many other musical terms you have heard, and will hear.
Beginner Class: 2:15pm - 3:05pm PST:
