(There will be only one ukulele Zoom Session today, Saturday, May 1st)

Michael will not be scrolling the music on the screen for today's class.

So, you either need to print out the music below, or read it from a second device. (The music is two pages & strum is one page.)

"If I Had A Hammer"

Written by Pete Seeger and Lee Hays (1949) in support of the Progressive Movement, If I Had A Hammer salutes the struggles of labor and has put a tune to labor activism.

We love this song for May Day! May 1 is honored as International Workers Day in most of the world, in addition to an ancient honoring of spring.

Pete Seeger inspired a generation to struggle for a better world with “If I Had A Hammer.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXBbIZlokB4

We performed this song at Topanga Days 2017! Here’s the link, go to 12:12 on the counter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2Qv-p4ZKNQ
